Lola Adeyemo, MS

Lola is a Senior Diversity and Inclusion Specialist within the Global Diversity & Inclusion Team at Thermo Fisher and holds a B. Tech in Biochemistry and MS in Biotechnology. Currently, Lola manages development and implementation of company affirmative action plans, monitors compliance with plans including progress in diversity goals, development of good faith action programs as well as initiatives promoting diversity within the company. In addition, Lola leads the Working Parents Program, is an active member of the African Heritage Employee resource group and served as the Women Employee Resource Group Co-leader.


Her prior job experience includes Procurement Project Manager, Operations Project Manager, Business Analyst, Configuration Analyst, and R&D Quality Analyst in various companies including Becton Dickenson, Illumina and Diageo Brewery. Lola also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Athena San Diego, a non-profit organization with a mission for empowering women in STEM leadership, is a current committee member and previous Board Member of the HBA San Diego Chapter and is a previous VP of Operations and current member of PMI San Diego.


Lola also advocates for young girls in STEM as a member of the Development Committee of the Girls Inc San Diego Chapter.
